KACHINA'S & CEREMONIAL ART
|
| INTRODUCTION
There is nothing so dangerous as to intrude into another man's
religious culture in a disrespectful manner. By the same token, there
is nothing that honors a culture more than wanting to experience and
adopt the way's of that culture. Indigenous peoples in general, and
Native Americans have been plagued by a bevy of wannabees who seek to
learn certain ways and hijack the culture for self-aggrandizement.
Nothing is so profane and nothing has more danger of destroying a
fragile sacredness.
